Sound impossible? Think again!

Every writer, whether they write fiction, non-fiction, short stories, articles, books, copywriting, screen writing, or something entirely different, needs to have their own author website.

I had my first site at least a year before I first published. It was primitive, and it was painful, and is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But that was years ago.

I’ve used all sorts of programs since then, but now I use software that is incredibly easy, and the search engines love. It’s called XsitePro web design software.

I was very reluctant to purchase this software when I discovered it about a year ago – not because it’s expensive, it’s not – but because I was afraid of the learning curve. I’ve used a variety of website editors in the past, and many of them were incredibly difficult to use. (I purchased Expression Web around a year ago too – it’s still sitting in the box because I can’t make head nor tail of it. <sigh>)

I spent around six hours playing with the XsitePro web design software – then created a full-blown website. (If I had started by doing the tutorial, my learning curve would have been much less!)

I had it up on the web in less than two hours, and I was a total novice with the software. You can see it here – it hasn’t changed much since then; I’ve mostly added author bios.

I’ve created a ton of sites with XsitePro web design software since then. Here are just a few: copy.writer2writer, niche.writer2writer, freelance.writer2writer, time-management.writer2writer, BestChristmasRecipes, Christmas-Resale-Products, and more. I’m in the process of transferring everything from the main Writer2Writer site over, and that will also soon be on XsitePro web design software as well.

Prior to buying this software I would spend 1-3 days minimum creating a new website. With XsitePro web design software my new site is up and running in 2-3 hours, and often less, depending on how complicated the site is.

Another thing I loooooove about XsitePro web design software is the fact that if I decide to change the entire look of the site it’s simple. For instance, if I want to change from a blue to a pink color scheme, it’s just takes a click of a button or two and the entire look of the site has been updated. Adding new pages is easy too. And navigation bars? Easy peasy – I’ve never had it so good!

The software comes with a ton of templates too, so it’s easy to get started. You can buy the software today, and have your author website up and running tomorrow. Seriously.

There is a one-off fee to buy XsitePro web design software, then you can create as many sites as you want. And it’s not expensive – the software normally sells for $297, but at the moment it’s selling for $197 – that’s a huge discount.

I could go on forever about this software, because it’s incredibly good, and I’m sure there’s still a lot for me to learn. Do go and check it out - you’ll be so happy you did!
