“Do You Tweet?” Follow Up

A little over 24 hours ago (or was it less?) I posted about my latest Twitter experience.

I’ve gone from around 60 followers to 115.  I find that amazing, given the fact I joined Twitter months ago and struggled to get 60 followers.  My followers have almost doubled in 24 hours!

Do You Tweet?

For as long as I can remember I’ve not been at all interested in ‘social networking’ sites.

In fact, I’m still not interested.  Somehow though, I got roped into joining twitter – I’m not quite sure how that happened, and to be honest, I don’t really understand it.

For some strange reason I seem to be getting somewhat of a following.  When I looked earlier today I had less than 60 followers, but a short time ago I had something like 85.

I’ve only done a couple of things different today that could have cause this.  I recently joined a ‘giveaway’ site and today I got an email from them telling me I should register my twitter details inside my account. This is because they have set up an automation system set up that earn members new followers.  So I did, and I did get more followers.

After that I was sent to a website by a cyberfriend, where I clicked on a special link.  That link is supposed to get even more followers.  Don’t ask me to explain the in’s and out’s of it, because I’ve already told you I don’t understand it!

I promise nothing bad will happen, but it will explain what it’s all about.

People are saying they’re selling more products using twitter, and that’s solely because they are sending traffic to sites using ’tweets’.  It supposed to work for writers, internet marketers, service providers, and just about anyone trying to sell or promote anything at all online.

It’s all Japanese to me, but I’m trying to understand it better, and to that end, I’m reading up on this phenonomen.

If you can explain it all in simple terms, then be my guest.  Just leave your comments.  Please!

Til next time…
