Okay, okay, so it's already December, not November!  But I tried hard to get an issue out earlier this month but it didn't happen.

So I'll pretend this is the November issue, and send out the first December issue in a week or so.

I won't go into all the gory details here, but it was a combination of both family and equipment issues that caused the delays.

I know many of you have celebrated Thanksgiving in the last few days.

We don't celebrate it here in Australia.  In fact, we have very few celebrations compared to the US.

Because it is a special time for those of you in the US, I've decided to run some specials.

First up is Blogging for, which is a fairly new product. It covers several sites that pa.y writers for articles or blogging.

Today it's going at a reduced price, but will be back at the normal price in a matter days. (It normally se.lls for $7 - $15)

You can also pick up I Wanna Win - Tips for Becoming an Award Winning Writer for an absolute song.  I'm about to retire this ebook, so instead of $19-95, you can grab it for just $4-99.  That's a discount of 75%.

Once I remove it from the shopping cart, you'll never see it again.

And last but certainly not least, Kevin Riley's Product Creation Workshop has been discounted by $50.  (This discount will come off the product price only - shipping cannot be discounted.)

This is a massive discount on the recommended price (and is actually $150 below what the product creator sells it for), so the discount will only be valid for the next 7 days.

Go there right now to check it out.

In addition to these great specials, I have some exciting things to tell you this issue, so I'll get right into it.

Recently I was approached about leading a writing retreat in Fiji. For the course to go ahead, a minimum of six participants are required. The estimated costs are AUD$1500 per person, which includes 7 nights shared accommodation.

It also includes all meals at Daku Resort, organised excursions as per programme, domestic flights from Nadi to Savusavu, airport transfers, and course fees. It doesn't include international flights to Fiji.

If this is something you might be interested in, please email me and register your interest.  This is only to gauge interest at this point, nothing more. (You definitely won't be committed to anything.)

We're looking at mid to late October 2011 to hold the course, which will cover fiction writing, and will include some one-on-one mentoring.

You can check out the website -  - where the retreats are held for information about the courses held there.

Feel free to let others know who may be interested.

I also want to let you know about a terrific f*r*e*e course that may give you a kick-start for your copywriting career.

More likely than not, if you aspire to copywriting you've heard of John Carlton.

I've just discovered that - for this week only - John is giving away his Simply Writing System "express course".

I don't want you to miss out on this, so go there right now and sign up before John realises how crazy he is and starts charging again!

Although this course was written with business owners in mind, copywriters can use it too.  Learn the tactics John uses for his copywriting clients. (And don't forget, this week it's fr.e.e - next week he's charging for it!)

What are you waiting for?  Go and sign up now!

You're probably itching to get into the newsletter, so without further ado, let's get to it.

You've likely heard about reslanting articles, but if you're anything like I was when I started out, I had no idea what it was about.

Cheryl Malandrinos' article this time around discusses researching correctly the first time around, which in turn allows you to reslant and then resell your articles.

Do check it out because this is a great way to make more inc.ome from your writing.

That's it from me [FIRSTNAME], time to sit back and enjoy this issue.

Til next time…

p.s. Now is a great time to start planning for Christmas.  Grab your Christmas Images package here.

Save Time by Using
Your Research Wisely

Copyright Cheryl C. Malandrinos - All Rights Reserved.

Writers perform research often. When I first began writing time management articles, I would find a topic of interest, research it, and then write the article. Next month I would do the same thing.

At some point I thought, “There must be an easier way.”

Many articles later, I’ve learned that the key is to use your research wisely.

It’s possible to research once and write multiple articles. I’ve been interested in this concept since I read about it in Kelly James-Enger’s book titled, Six Figure Freelancing.

This concept is known as reslanting. You take your original idea, spin it off into different angles, and locate possible new markets for it.

Enger writes health articles, so her example looked something like this:

You write an article on the benefits of antioxidants for older people with a health-oriented publication like Prevention in mind.

How to Revise Your Novel

Did you grab Holly Lisle's new download How to Revise Your Novel(Lite) ?  It's still $5 and it's still the bargain of the year. Holly has advised she may be pulling it down soon (due to some issues with PayPal), so if you want it, go there now otherwise you may miss out. (I still don't know how long it will be available.)

Niche Starter Kit

Are you ready to make serious money?

One of the best decisions I ever made was to write and sell ebooks. My very first ebook earned over $1,000 in a matter of months, and at that point I was a total unknown with no history, virtually no subscribers (I had ten at the time), and a website that screamed 'amateur'.

These days I earn five figures each year from the sales of my ebooks, and I want to help you do the same.
