EDITORIAL:

Dear [FIRSTNAME],

It's definitely been a very long time since I sent out a newsletter.

This year has been devoted to one of my granddaughters - one who lives with me.

After finally being diagnosed with Autism - a fight I've had for around eight years with various professionals - the hard work really began.

First there was the fight for educational funding, to get her an aide in class. The funding was finally secured after some very long months of paperwork and further testing, but that was just the beginning.

We (the school psychologist and I) set out to get her into a special school. Unfortunately her IQ was just ten points above the cut off point, so we had rejection after rejection. We thought we'd finally found 'the' school, and five trial days followed. Unfortunately she was targeted by a group of girls, and it was deemed too dangerous for her to attend that school.

We are now at a point where we are resigned to leaving her at her regular school, but with an aide. So far it's working out, but we're only a couple of weeks in.

After all of this, I was totally whacked, and needed a break. I went to Queensland for a little over a week, and spend some quality time with some very close friends.

It is now obvious I really needed that time, as I have energy again, and have been thinking about my novel, and actually working on it. It's been a long time coming.

Today I stumbled across a site that I thought might be useful to you. It is specifically for writers, and at the moment they are holding their "Writer Appreciation Week".

They are giving away resources for writers over the next five days. One that really caught my attention was "102 websites that will pay you to write". It's all very well to write, but we need to be compensated for our time.

Anyways, it's all free, but you need to sign up to join it. Click here to join.

Til next time…

Motivational Quote:

“Looking back, I imagine I was always writing. Twaddle it was too. But better far write twaddle or anything, anything, than nothing at all.”

Please support Writer2Writer.com and the Writer to Writer newsletter by purchasing through advertising links in this newsletter. This keeps the newsletter and other information (such as fr*ee courses) at no charge to subscribers.  Many similar publications are now charging a yearly fee - I'm constantly fighting against that trend.

Right now, the online world is literally begging for writers. People that can tap out a few words - providing content for the millions of sites out there.

You don't have to have a lot of experience, you just have to be able to piece together a few simple sentences - and submit them to the SECRET ONLINE WRITING MARKETS that most people have absolutely NO idea about.
