It's been a busy few weeks, and two weeks ago was especially busy.

I was asked by my grandchildren's school to do some workshops about writing - the process of writing, how to get published, what happens after you're published etc.

This was done over four year levels (grades 3-6) and also over three days.

Each workshop was about 40 minutes so the children weren't overloaded.

It was an interesting experience, and the children appeared to enjoy it. There were lots of questions, and in some cases, we ran out of time.

I will be going back down the track, but this time we'll be targeting very specific areas, such as characterisation, setting, etc.

Then Friday of the same week, I went on my writing group's annual retreat.

As always, it was a blast. We had workshops galore, including one I presented on writing first person POV.

I am still recovering from the weekend - I always come home exhausted - but have been totally inspired.  I've even did some writing the following week despite my exhaustion.

And some good news for me.  I was recently contracted by a publisher for two books.  One is novel length, and the other is a novella.  They are both now available - as Kindle downloads.  You can see the first book here:

(It's free right now as a promo, but that will be changing at the end of June 14.)

The second book was released yesterday, and you can see it here:

Talking of fiction, I recently found this great package for fiction writers.

You can see it here.

When I found this package, it was priced at $17-95.  I managed to get a review copy so that I could ensure the quality was high (it is), and also negotiated with Amber, the product owner, to get the lowest possible price for you.

At this point, but possibly only for a couple of weeks, the price of the package is $9-95.  That's an $8 saving right off the bat.  However, I also managed to get Amber to throw in some bonuses that she was selling separately.

This is all exclusively for Writer2Writer subscribers.  Everyone else is paying the full price, and have to pay extra for the bonuses you get free.  So if you write fiction, and you're interested in this package, jump on it now because I don't know how long Amber will keep the price low.

Let me tell you a little about the package.  It's solely for fiction writers, and is geared around writing books for Kindle.  Amber is making a full-time living writing and selling Kindle novels.

For many of us, plotting is one of the hardest and most time consuming tasks related to story writing.  Amber has plotted the storylines for you.  No matter how many people buy this package, every story will be unique, and that's because everyone will take it in a different direction.

As you work your way through, you'll also learn ways to build on the provided plots, as well as learn how to plot new ideas.

There's a bonus pdf on creating characters, and also some charts to help you further.

You'll see at the top of the page Amber explains she writes romance, BUT this will help writers with any genre.  So don't discount it if you don't write romance - otherwise you will be missing out on something that could help you immensely.

I can see this product being an enormous help to a lot of fiction writers, me included.

Here's the link again, so you can check it out.

Last time I told you about Dennis Becker's "Your Daily Success Plan".  I don't know how long Dennis will keep it free, so if you haven't done so already, pick it up now.

It's a 139 page pdf, and as previously advised, it sold for $47 previously, so snap it up while you can.

Unfortunately there's been a hiccup with the article for this issue, so there's no article.  Look out for the next issue in a week or so, which will definitely contain an article for you to enjoy and learn from.

Til next time…

p.s. Kevin Riley has kept the low price on his Product Creation Lab Private Workshop.  You can read my review here, or click here to go directly to Kevin's website.

Please support Writer2Writer.com and the Writer to Writer newsletter by purchasing through advertising links in this newsletter. This keeps the newsletter and other information (such as fr*ee courses) at no charge to subscribers.  Many similar publications are now charging a yearly fee - I'm constantly fighting against that trend.

Right now, the online world is literally begging for writers. People that can tap out a few words - providing content for the millions of sites out there.

You don't have to have a lot of experience, you just have to be able to piece together a few simple sentences - and submit them to the SECRET ONLINE WRITING MARKETS that most people have absolutely NO idea about.
