EDITORIAL:

Dear [FIRSTNAME],

It has been a very long time since I sent out a newsletter, I know.

Last year was not at all kind to me, with one major bout of pneumonia, as well as several smaller (but still debilitating) bouts.

I also had foot surgery end of September, which had me laid up for a few months, instead of the 1-2 weeks I was told.

October saw me having an iron infusion as my iron became dangerously low.

I was hoping 2016 would be much kinder to me, but already I've had five courses of strong antibiotics (the ones my specialist uses to keep me out of hospital) with no end in sight just yet. <sigh> But I will continue to do the best I can.

So... not much writing going on in the Wright household at the moment. I am still endeavouring to finish my current WIP - a romantic suspense called "Deadly Debt".  I sure hope I get to finish it soon.  My lovely publisher, BooksWeLove, have been more than patient.

Now onto something a little more pleasant.

Hubby and I had a much needed holiday in January. The first we've had together for over eight years! We had a short cruise that went to parts of Australia - from Melbourne to Port Arthur (Tasmania), Hobart (Tasmania), Adelaide, and back to Melbourne.  It went for a whole seven days and was thoroughly wonderful. It was extremely relaxing, and the food was magnificent! We'll definitely be doing it again, but I don't know when. (Not too long off I hope!)

I did come back to find out the Writer2Writer website and the Writer to Writer ezine were nominated  for the Preditors and Editors Readers Awards, which is a world-wide competition.

By the time I found out, voting was almost closed (only a few hours to go). We did win two awards, which is fabulous.

For Writer's Resource/Information, the website (Writer2Writer.com) came in 6th, so in the Top Ten.

The ezine, Writer to Writer, again won first place, which is always a thrill.

Thanks to all who voted. It is greatly appreciated.

Til next time…

Please support Writer2Writer.com and the Writer to Writer newsletter by purchasing through advertising links in this newsletter. This keeps the newsletter and other information (such as fr*ee courses) at no charge to subscribers.  Many similar publications are now charging a yearly fee - I'm constantly fighting against that trend.

Right now, the online world is literally begging for writers. People that can tap out a few words - providing content for the millions of sites out there.

You don't have to have a lot of experience, you just have to be able to piece together a few simple sentences - and submit them to the SECRET ONLINE WRITING MARKETS that most people have absolutely NO idea about.
